Licensed Blade Runner Prop Replicas on the way!

Very cool. Thanks for filling me in. I'm sure you're love your Paragon blaster. The Tomens are fantastic - matte finish or not.
Guess it also depends on how in love you are with the property/film/etc. I'm also looking fwd to the Paragon despite the non-blue parts and nonfunctioning green LEDs and etc. I'm the crazy guy who actually loves BR2049 more than BR. So I'll care more about the accuracy of K's blaster than I will Deckard's.

You’re not alone. I also prefer 2049.

Don't forget (and correct me if I'm wrong) Blade Runner did a flop when it went on screen. It is several years later that it became a cult classic !!! Maybe the same with 2049.....

Dang, guess I am subjectively wrong about how I feel.
No man, you can like what you want, i mean in the bigger picture or mass conclusion kind of way.

I mean who would think that Wallace is a better character than Tyrell or Luv is better than Roy Batty right?
or the fact that the dense and diverse culture population is nowhere to be seen in 2049?
or that Syd Mead world building and design is gone into the sterile Villeneuve usual design that he implemented again on Dune?
or the retro future character and costume design that rich and have their own characteristic for each character?

The answer to all of your rhetorical questions is clearly some people. We get it, you disagree. No one is arguing with you, move on.

Also don’t dictate the terms by which I can “like what I want” it’s patronizing.

Well, you're the one who seems get offended by my statement so you need to reply my previous statement cmiiw.

So i make a clarify on why i think the OG is superior, with some points to back it up.

never in mind to patronizing you, since i wrote you can like what you want right?

Not offended. Just pointing out the absurdity of what you said.

The way you framed your “points” was rude. Instead of saying “I think this” you chose to ask “who would think that” which has a pretty demeaning implication. They were also all subjective points.

Anyway, BACK ON TOPIC.

Idk if you guys saw but Paragon posted that the proofs for the art boxes of Deckard's blaster came in and will ship in roughly 2-3 weeks. Which is a bit earlier than advertised. Not getting my hopes up, but would be cool.

Im so excited, Iv got the resin kit and the water gun on reserve and they are supposed to ship in a day or two. Unfortunately the elite blaster is out of my budget for the foreseeable future but its good to finally have a few more affordable pieces to add to my collection! Plus I also got the Cryo-Can from Jurassic Park reserved which looks incredible and cant wait to get my hands on that as well over the summer

I'm old...but new to collecting figures and props. I Got started last year...mostly with Sideshow statues...Star Wars, Marvel, and DC...mostly.
But, I must admit the Hero Elite Blaster is by far my most anticipated acquisition! I saw the original Blade Runner in a theater when it came out. My friends hated it...I LOVED IT. Certainly one of my all-time favorite Sci-Fi movies.

Wasn't into collecting when the Tomenosuke came out so I'm glad I stumbled upon this one.
