trying to construct, well forge a make shift figurine of the ever famous liberty prime, does anyone have any ideas? was thinking of using some left over warhammer 40k bits

You could start with an Iron Giant toy because they seem to have a fairly similar body shape. Not sure how affordable those are though. You could probably even make a lot of him out of cheap would and cover it with various parts and styrene sheet. I have the Fallout 3 art book if you need scans. It mostly shows all the versions of him.

What size figure were you looking to make? Warhammer bits are 28mm scale and so even the mighty Liberty Prime would be fairly short ... Space marines are supposed to be ~7ft tall after all.
