LET'S SEE YOUR PROP ROOMS AND DISPLAYS!

CT2CT3TK.jpg

This is 1 of 2 display units in the main area of my house. Almost all of the rest of my collection is in my office on shelves though I do have my swords and FX sabers wall mounted. The swords are on a standard pegged wall rack painted in metallic copper and the sabers are hang on clear hooks with metal rings to support. I'll get pics for you tomorrow. :)

I tried to take a clean approach to my displays. Make the props the focus, ya know? For screen used bits I always try to print out a photo from the film and a small 2x5 card in a clear angle frame.

Some of my cases were cheap 6' bookcases with custom made (by a screen door place) white-trimmed plexi that I've latched to the front. Doesnt need to be pricey to look good. Ikea, Target, Michaels... they are your friend!

Just be creative and have fun with it :)

Since I'm limited in space I rotate what I have displayed by themes or characters. I also like to pair my nicer collectables with my toys. I have my unleashed obi and anankin dueling with the .45 MR sabers infront of them. On the same shelf is the unleashe sidious vs yoda with their sabers too. Lots of Vader stuff together. Centered is a Koto vader with a hardware and resin parts saber. You'll see an action fleet vader's tie hanging along with VOTC vader, Vaderon operating table with medical droids and the unleashed vader in the back. Can't wait for the SS 12inch figs to start shipping so I can display my saber with them. Hope this helps.

Here are some pics.

I made them small so I could get a bunch.

For those who've seen this rom before, there have been some changes.

More old pics here, I used slatwall to give some placement and mounting freedom. Plus you can just put a lot up there... :D

Not sure if I'll be using it the new house though.

You guys have too much room... :angry

I would take a picture of all my stuff boxed up back in my old bedroom in my parent's house, but that just isn't very pretty.

Unfortunately, my condo isn't big enough to display much sans a few MR lightsabers. :cry

What are those organic looking guns next to the grey Morita?
And what are the HOOJ guns in the second photo?

My envy blinded eyes registered Galaxy Quest just before everything went dark.

Not one, not two, BUT 3.

The blue screen effect of the paint was unintentional, but it is cool and very fitting for the room.

Those recessed shelf displays in your basement are very nice BoBoDohn.

Living in Florida we have no basements and I'm always envious when I see what everyone does with theirs.

I still think The Mantis' rolltop desk with memorabilia is the coolest display ever.

As Jedirick said those are GQ pod guns in the first pic. The second pic has 2Fast 2Furious EMP guns (2 hero gas+electronics, 1 stunt) with a Dredd Aspen gun in the back.
