LEGO minifigure clocks from The Force Awakens

For a little over a year now I've been tinkering with accessories and helmets for the LEGO minifigure clocks that LEGO never made but should have. I have modeled and 3D printed close to 30 different helmets/accessories for various minifigs, but recently I've been working on the minifigs from Episode 7. So far, I've made the Stormtrooper (and thus Capt. Phasma), Snowtrooper, and Flametrooper helmets. I'm working on the Tie Fighter Pilot now, and then I'll get to work on Kylo Ren.

Below are some renderings of my 3D models for these helmets.

I also have created decals to give the parts the lines/colors that the actual LEGO parts have. I hope to have pictures of the cast helmets with decals applied soon.

Ultimately, the goal is to have these helmets fit onto a regular clock. The best clock to use for the troopers is the all-white mummy clock. For the black tie-fighter pilot and Kylo Ren, I'll use a Darth Maul clock as a base. Then the stickers just cover over the printed on decals of the donor clocks. The decals can either be cut out to preserve the visibility of the clock, or I'm thinking of making a rectangular spacer that covers the clock so that the full chest decal can be seen.

As soon as I get these to a place that I'm comfortable with, I'll create a For Sale thread.

So far so good! Storm Trooper, Snow Trooper, and Flame Trooper are done, and the Tie Pilot helmet is getting a mold made tonight. Darth Maul makes a perfect retrofit for the black pilot suit. You can see in the picture the one in the background has the chest decal applied, the one in the foreground has the legs and waist decals applied. I'm also making a custom snap-on head to replace the donor head, and a custom spacer to fill in the recess of the LCD clock, if people want to cover up the clock for a full chest decal.

Captain Phasma was a complete hand-built minifig using the Smooth-on cold cast powder. This method looks cool, but it's so time-consuming to mold each part, not to mention brushing the powder into every mold. Probably about 6hrs all in. I think it'll be easier to spray paint a standard clock.

As soon as I have the pilot helmet and other parts done, I'll put up more pics of the completed minifigures.
