    thanks!

the only thing i'm missing is a chainmail short sleeved shirt.

might have to suck it up and pay for one.

The potion bottles on the back of the shield are EFFING BRILLIANT! I'm planning on doing a Protoman costume from Megaman and that gives me so many ideas!

Looking good so far. The first thing I noticed that was missing was the hauberk but I see you have that covered. Other than that, maybe add in the scroll detailing at the corners of his tunic? Nice choice on the tunic/hat fabric, by the way :)

I don't know if you'd be interested in changing your ears but Aradani Studios has some nice ears that point upwards more like Link's. One of the guys who runs the site is also a Link costumer :thumbsup

I saw where you said you were thinking about buying one is why I said you had it covered. If you have the time it might be worth it to learn how to make chainmail. Then you can sell them for $80-$100 :lol

Ah, you must have the discontinued Legend ears then. They quit making them because they didn't fit properly on a lot of people. Maybe that's why yours droop down a bit? Or maybe they only appear that way because of how your head is tilted.

OT but you'd make a great Samwise Gamgee if you're into LoTR :)

chainmail is actually pretty "easy" to build, its just annoying work :D you can make it out of plastic piping for virtually no money
they did it on lotr that way, mixed with metal ones
    Making PVC Maille

if you want to do it in metal, you could use metal washers, which would save you the work of cutting off rings of a pipe, but its probably harder to work with

Awesome job. Great pictures too. I'm working on a Link Cosplay. What kind of fabric did you use for your tunic?

I'd like to make minor tips about the shield design: what I've noticed in the game is that the Loftwing ( crimson bird design ) is usually painted on. I'm not saying to do that, I like your originality with it, I just like putting out pointers that some may take as advice or others just think it rude of me to say and call me a troll or whatever. But overall, it's better than any shield I can come up with!
