Hey just curious Anyone who is ordering TMP's Leather Suit
and using it to match a David Prowse size Mannequin or Wearable Costume...
What size from his size Chart are all of you going for.... A couple People have
been Helpfull and suggested a 46 Jacket, 46 Vest, and a 42 Pants but, i was
wondering what the general consensus is on this Issue Both for myself and anyone
else who is having trouble Deciding what to Order :)

Thanks in Advance :) :thumbsup

Doug,
I'm getting it Prowse-sized.
It would be:
Jacket: 46
Vest: 46
Pant: 42

These measurements seem to work the best, based on his size chart.

Hey all i just Got an E-mail from someone who bought the TMP suit and he let me know that the sizes are in UK and so the suit didn't size up:) to prowse's measurements can anyone Confirm This who has bought the suit, i have also read on a thread to lean more towards a 48,48,42 because of this

a 48 48 42 whould fit as well for david Prowse size. The originals were a bit big but tighen on the back with buckles to drag the extra material backwards to make it stick to the body. For people for a snug fit 464642 is defiantly the most sold over 20 pieces sold and i only recived one person who were not 100 % satisfied. I belive the person was a bodybuilder.

Also people must keep in mind that leather strech. Just measure up the inches and chose the size of your prefference. I am 6.2 with 38 Waistline and with 105 kg (230 lbs?) And i am using 464642 and a bit to big. You can se this on the bodysuit on the photos. Also the legs on mine is a bit on the long side but i just drag my pant more up. Doing this i still can get a fist down in between.

If you follow the extreme measurements for david then maybe 484842 is your size.. If for the more moderate then maybe 464642 is what your looking for... For 501st size :p 424238

Thanks for the info John i'm wondering how are we all looking untill things get started for production, and has everyone sent you their measurements:) ? I started this Thread in case anyone is still pondering what size to order:)

I`m almost through making my prowse size mannequin with TMP suit.

The suit I bought was made to fit half way between me and prowse - Ive only had to knock a inch and a half off his height so its not noticeable.

Will post pics as soon as I can.

Its a really great suit. Bought it a year ago or so - wasnt totally happy with buckle and belt boxes and chestbox - but the leather parts are amazing.

Oh yes and the Robes - amazing workman ship.

Thanks for the feedback on the softparts. These are my main projects and focus area.
I really look forward to seeing photos og your lifesize Vader.

In reply to your question if i have recived any sizes... Well i have not got one reply. I really could need these sizes ASAP. So we can get on going.

I am ready to make
10 x 3 peice suit 6 are spoken for.
10 x cods 5 are sold
10 x sets of cape and robe 3 people orderd. I could need 2 more people for this. It whould be great.

NOTE i can make the cape in ANH style with the correct lenght and the split. I know many here has an ANH costume they are working on but it strikes me how few people has the split and the correct inseam front folding. Now this is your last chance to get the cape and robe in this style. Its with a wool cotton blend.
The neck is larger and improved. Split in the side (can be sown in of wanted ESB or ROTJ) Sown in folding.
Cape with leather collar and satin lining. Robe with lining if wanted.

Is there anyone else who wants to add a couple of useful Tidbits to this Thread? Time is running out for orders and Measurements....

BTW, John i sent a PM

ArtisanProps,

I'm leaning more towards Prowse being 6'8" in his day, so...

I guess I'm going for the 48 48 42 size. I haven't put a lot of thought into it, but I figure I'd rather go a little big so I have the room to build a 7 foot vader if I want. If I don't like what I see, I'm assuming I can tuck and hide a little leather and make a smaller Vader.

Same goes for the cape. I'd rather have too much that I can hem up some.

That sounds like a good idea if you go for a large sized David Prowse. But i dont think 464642 whould be a problem either. Like i said before the original was a bit to big but it had buckles on the back to tighen the leather on the front. Either way both will work.

Please note the most sold for David Prowse size is my 464642

One thing is to wear it another for display.

NOTE.
I really could need your guys sizes soon. Please post these in the JUNKYARD.

Thanks for the advice guys. Maybe I am going too big with the 48 48 42. Hmmm....tough call.
