Hi all,
I am making my first Latex mask, it has not gone smoothly, but I dont mind learning from my mistakes.
I have used Mark Alfreys DVD to guide me, The first area that was problematic, was that the 2 halves of the plaster mold somehow ended up not being flush, and so I have been left with a huge seam line

Alfrey also suggests pouring in a gallon of Latex, leaving it an hour and pouring the excess out - Unfortunately I dont have a gallon of Latex, so I slushed it, this has led to some areas being quite thin, and I also torw the mask on removal and trimming

So I have searched threads for advice on how to rescue this, I have learnt how to thicken the mask from within, isung Latex soaked material, but I still have a couple of unanswered questions:
-Can I add latex to the outside to remedy the seems?
-Can the tears be repaired so they are unoticed?
-Any and all suggestions as to where you think I went wrong
-Any advice on how to improve
Your help is Gratefully appreciated.
Thank you
