Latex en masse?

I realize this is not movie specific but some friends and I want to sort of create something like the t-rex seen in video link. We wanted to do a dragon. We are trying to figure out the latex skin. Can anyone recommend a type and a potential avenue for supplies? I'd appreciate any feedback.

I saw a making of for a dino movie that they used foam rubber for the skin and used a soldering iron to melt the skin folds in. Then they painted it. Something like this:
Du-Bro - 514 Foam Rubber 1/2"
