Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's**New Maps at start of thread**

Actually neither of those pix are the original. They are both from my build. That top part is just from my greeblies box. Don't remember what kit it came from. Didn't have good reference for it and I liked it. One of two parts on my whole build that I replaced. If anyone knows the actual part id like to know too.

Ya, I was looking at the parts maps link on the first post in this thread and was just referring to that person's build for reference. I suppose the 1/35 part is probably a little big for the 5 footer, so if the part is indeed from the 1/48 bandai, I have seen the 1/76 parts from Airfix, Fujimi and Dragon and hope they are close enough for use on the Deagostini falcon's turret disc.

Now we just to ID the small disc part in the middle, lol.

There seem to be two different 1/48 bandai shermans. Does anyone know which sherman it's from? Or maybe a kit scan? I'm confused. Just what part are you guys talking about? Pic?

Part is Nichimo Sherman. I thought Bandai also a long time ago, but after getting one, too small & details not quite right.

Awesome, thx for the verification. I thought the Nichimo looked the part. Do you know what the center disc part is. Looks to be a wheel of some type. I am still pouring over the Kit Scans thread looking for it, lol.

If you guys are talking about this part, the parts are different on each side. Not from the Sherman. I used the correct parts.

Oops...I thought we were talking about the Nichimo Sherman part on turret top face, not the actual quad gun. Yeah the gun is a whole different ball game in parts.

Ok, folks, yes I was asking about the round part on the top turret face, not the quad gun. The Nichimo part is hollow and looking at the area in close up, it appears to have another round part with a post protruding from it. Any idea from what kit this originates from?

I never noticed the slight difference. I'm ordering the right part now! I'm thinking it might be the Tamiya Sherman but the original tooling perhaps? Does anyone have the right part for reference?

Ok...the outer ring is positively ID as Nichimo 1/35 Sherman. The inner part is Fujimi 1/76 halftrack.
Think there are kit scans for both on SSM.

image.jpegHi everyone, I've been collecting parts for my build for some time now and although I'm almost there these parts have eluded me

Sparky, ten to one they are a pair of aircraft machine guns, less the barrels. It looks like the MG bodies with feed chutes coming off the sides. Might be from a WWI a/c kit also, but without any idea of the size of the pair, can't offer any suggestions re: which kit... Revell Camel or Fokker Dr.I perhaps... 1/28 scale kits were offered. Talking to the yellow pointer, btw.

Well, did some looking myself, but no joy. Definitely twin machine gun bodies with what appears to be the connecting cross-bar at the rear. Very much like the installation in a Fokker Dr.I (triplane) or D.VII but could also be from a turret. What scale are the Panther engine decks nearby? The gun bodies appear to be close in (kit) scale to those...if assumed to be 50 calibers.
