Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's**New Maps at start of thread**

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

NB: I'm not at my home PC so can't use any images, but I noticed that in Rodmarts pic of the inner jaw where he's noted the 25 pdr panel. just ahead of it to the right I can also see the Nichimo Elefant part which is shown on BP's sprue scan, just under the drive wheel that's been highlighted. Can anyone confirm?

Also same pic, behind the 25pdr panel you can see another use of the 1/9 Kettengrad block part!

Cheers
Nick

Hey Nick ! You have great eyes too ! :lol
I didn't notice those at all.

Nick wants to say this.:cheers

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

Ahh, praise indeed from the Master! :) thanks

My house purchase is taking up alot of my time at the moment so it could be a little while before I get a chance to do any updated partmaps. Will do what I can though. Got loads to update on!

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

It's incredible, we don't have time to find kit part's, Blackpig find ALL before us ! :rolleyes
How can I help now ?:)
About the 750CB racing, this Tamiy'a kit is very rare. I've found just one plastic kit on EBAY, all other 750 Cb racing 1/6 Tamiya are die cast pre assembly kit's ! MGRRR:angry
Bravo and thanks.

If you don't find them earlier than me, I will find everything ! :lol

Sometime in Japan, we can get the 1/6 CB-Racing, about under $200.(without shipping):eek

Parts were found from our familiar kit.:)

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

Nice job BP. That's a tricky area to look at.

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

i have an Italaerei's Elefant if anyone is interested in the parts. I bought this kit an age ago under miss information so hopefully it can help someone out. If you've got a few Karl parts (the ones all over the TIe bomber wings) I'd love a trade?

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

Nicely done BP, and talking about the CB 750 Racing could you confirme if this finding is true?
I don't own that kit but I was looking into some pictures of it and it seems to be that part of the bike, I am not sure because thr 5 footer is so big that it's easy to loose the scale of parts until you've got them.
I do not have a clear picture of the part in the same section opposite to this one but it seems it is from the Racing too.

And someone was looking for pictures to study the curve of the dome shape, justa like me. I took this cap from ESB and work it a little bit with Photoshop to lighten it a little bit, hope it helps. Anyway it is cool as a wallpaper!

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

Yeah, I found that out too, no part that looks like #5 in this kit.:unsure
Still, the Hurricane does provide a decent amount of parts so is a must have kit!.

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

eagle1, leukirix. That part belongs to the Airfix 1/24 Messerschmitt BF 109. I've got both kits so I am sure of this info. You can find this same part but complete in other sections of the Falcon as seen in the picture, hope it helps!
The Messer is a donor kit for the X-Wing droid strip and several Y wing details.

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

You are welcome leukirix:)

And I need some light on the AMT trucks, I am a little bit confused. I don't have them and I am not sure what ones to buy. I've found some pictures on the web, so here are my doubts, anyone can post pictures of these parts, please:cool

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

You guys are really nailing this, well done to all. I do feel though its an Everest to climb with another Everest to climb at the end with the building of it. If I could only do one build in my like it would be this beast, so am loving all the effort you guys are putting in.

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

You are very welcome Eagle 1, I've learned a lot in this forum so it's cool the give a hand back.
Yesterday me and my best friend finally tracked down and bought a Centurion 1/25:cool:cool:eek!!
There are like 28 parts for the falcon :eek , I took some pictures of the ones that surprised me the most, on the belly and specially the part on the engine sector beneath the Airfix 1/24 Harrier and Carro Armato part. So here they go:

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

Hi Chaps,

Hmm, looks like I made a boo-boo when I did the text for MF007. Obviously got muddled as to my 1/24 planes. Will amend the map for the next update. As noted though, no harm done as you need a 1/24 Hurricane anyway.

Nice going Rodmart. Are you looking to challenge the Mightypig on his home turf!? :)

Its interesting to see your comparison of the various truck chassis. I must admit I had thought it was the Kenworth T600 used upright on the top and bottom of the mandibles, but I can see that the K123 is the correct match. Will also amend on the partmap.

As for that small section of chassis on the side of the mandible, at first look you tend to assume it will be another piece of the T600, but actually the details don't quite match. What is the chassis like off the La France, could that be a donor. Haven't got that kit yet. Too skint!

RE the Centurion. Yes its a grail kit for the Falcon and the Y-wing. It frustrates the hell out of me that I can't get access to my one at the moment!

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

Hi Gort :), hi everyone:)
You are right on the T600, it is not from that kit nor from the American LeFrance. I don't have the American LeFrance kit but I found pictures of the sprues and the assembling manual. The only chassis section is the one in the picture I posted.
I was thinking it may com from the Kenworth Conventional W-925 or Movin' On but it seems the chassis is the same one as the T-600. :confused
Does someone got pictures of this kits? It would be great to have a good look at them, not only to buy the right ones but because those big sections are very useful to calculate the scale of the ship.
And please Black Pig, master of ID, could you post a picture of the CB 750 Rasing section that I belive goes over the Chevy 57 chassis? Thanks:)

Hey Rodmart ! You are an archeologist Indy Jones ! :love

To our regret, I do not have them. Yeah, it is expensive for me now. :thumbsdown (I have to saves the money a little now because it is necessary for the other.)
However, there is a little clear image about the parts of CB750Four.So, I show you.(Second pic is from CB750Racing. This is not clear.)
I will get it one of these days.:cool

Re: Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's

Is it me, or has that part been retooled? The wire ribbons (or whatever) seem to be a different shape, for example.
