Large Batman wall plaque, PICS!!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to post some pics of the Batman Begins style logo I made. I wanted to make it look like it was a wall carving in the bat cave. The plaque measures about 36 inches across. Enjoy the pics

Ah! I knew I was forgetting something, how I made it The plaque is made from foam that I then coat with an acrylic coating and cotton batten to seal and texture the foam. very lightweight but also very tough.

I LOVE it! Nicely done. I am a little confused on how the cotton batten was used in the sculpt though...

Thanks for the kind words guys! The cotton batten comes in sheets. What I do is cover the foam with the acrylic medium, after doing that I then lay the batten into that and then saturate the batten with the acrylic medium. That covers the texture of the foam and also makes a hard shell coating over it to protect it from chipping. It is actually VERY durable doing this and the foam can take a heck of a beating after it is dry
