I recently bought this Larbel Obi-Wan saber from Tom (jameth1971). It is really a stunning piece.
Still, I felt it needed something more, specially because it had some room left on the inside. However, I didn't want to add electronics or anything that would make me drill the saber or change it permanently.
So last night I took a dive into my junk drawer, and with some inspiration I started working. It was relatively easy, but I really like what I got. Here are some pics. Everything is "glued" with epoxy, so in case I want to roll back to the original state, I can just break things apart. What do you think about it?
Oh, and additionally I added a screw head to the covertec wheel, since it had no screw there (I had to cut a screw with an exacto knife to get the head alone).
And the brass knob was loose. You had to cover it with tape or something to make the screw wider so that it could enter tight into the hole. I put some epoxy on the hole as well so that the screw from the knob could fit well
So that's it. What do you think?
