Lady Cassandra (Dr. Who) Liquid Latex, help needed.

Hello all! :)
My small Cosplay group is working on a replica of Lady Cassandra from Doctor Who for a one day con.
Her frame is already made, the only thing left is her skin. It was put to a vote that we just have nothing more than a nice 100% latex skin (paint a few layers of latex on a flat surface and just roll it off once it's finished drying) or paint the latex on a 100% cotton fabric. The votes ruled in favor of the fabric.
Is there any way that I can paint the latex onto the fabric without ending up with any wrinkles or brush stroke streaks?
(The skin will start out in 48" length and 33" width)

Thank you so much for your time.

You can use a paint roller to apply latex to fabric, but it tends to have a slightly pebbly texture. I wonder if you could brush the latex onto a clean flat surface (garage floor?), then apply fabric to the back, and paint over it again. That way the "front" would take on the smoothness of the base but you would still have the integral fabric for reinforcement.

A similar process was used to make the 1989 Batman capes, though they used a spray gun to apply the latex.

You can also use a spray gun or you can also dip the whole piece of cloth in the latex and hang it up and let the excess drip off.
