Ladies can be Iron Man too (everything but the shoulders, pg 35)

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

just curious - how long did it take for you to do your pep mask?

15 hours easy for me, probably more. Depends on how detailed the helmet your making is, I'm doing Sharkhead's Mark VI. Takes awhile, but I get overly obsessive about all my tabs lining up perfectly

I'm on my third helmet because I goofed up the scaling on my first 2. At least I have plenty to practice on

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Shade managed to get his done I think in 5-6 hours and It's the one Lammberry is using (Not sure if it is the one you are using Aron) And I managed to get one done never, X3.

I only ever pepped Sharkhead's original first 2, then stopped cause I needed and Iron Man break.

It took me a good 21 hours for the first one :p on the second go, maybe 15-18. I'm so slow!

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, been caught up in a lot of Captain America mess and I don't want to post anything here until I've gotten a good chunk of it done

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (kinda pic heavy)

Great job on the Iron Man/Lady Armor!!

I'd love to see your Captain America project,
I'm a big Captain America Fan!!

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Your work looks great so far. You have really managed to get a good start on the detailing process of the Helmet. That is where most people begin to fail.

Again You are doing great, Keep up the good work!

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

any updates? oh yeah Lam I finally finished my Noir costume
Did you?? i"ll be sure to pop in your thread and take a look right now then :]]

Lots of progress on Captain America though no decent pictures until this saterday (unless a terrible cell-phone picture would hold you over), but it's safe to say that my Iron Man project is on hold until Dragon*con has passed. I'm not dead yet though! Just busy busy busy..

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Planning on it, actually!
SWEET! same here, hoping to make a job change soon so I can do more stuff in the summer. Tourism jobs stink if you like doing stuff in summer months. what costumes do you think you'll bring? sorry If Im getting of topic lol just trying to keep and eye on your thread and build

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

No worries, just hate to keep bumping the thread like this when there aren't any updates! If you wanna keep up the convo, shoot me a PM or add me on facebook :]

Here, RPF, have this impossibly grainy and terrible cell phone pic of slight progress. Maybe this will be enough to embarress me into takeing quality ones when I get home this saterday so I can take it down ;]

Ok, the pic could be low-res, but the idea and execution (so far) of that female version of Captain America looks great!
This would be another WIP fun to watch. Probably you should start its own thread. Just my 2c:)

I may, once I'm able to take decent photos. Seems weird though, since it's an original design...

Maybe just make one for the shield itself.

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

Looks pretty kickass!!! Though with the blonde flowing hair makes me kinda think of supergirl a little.
Either way still good design.....
Will the army LBV straps ya got on have any type of ammo pouch attached or just the straps?

(y)thumbsup:thumbsup

Good work!

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)

It really is kick-ass, are you planing on making the pointy nose mask too?

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 12)
