Ladies can be Iron Man too (everything but the shoulders, pg 35)

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (kinda pic heavy)

From having you as a YouTube stalker to future Iron Man-Armored wife all in the same night, I'd say my night is fairly complete as well.

And, WarMachine, call me old fashioned but the lady should be in charge of the planning, so be nice to her and maybe she'll include you on the guest list.

...This may be the most ridiculous tangent to come of this entire thread...and that's saying a lot.

The father-daughter dance shall be to back in black by AC/DC. All of the brides maids shall be referred to only as Pepper and the groomsmen, Happy. All of the champagne that night shall be sipped only from the finest dollar store offical marvel brand Avengers paper cups.

I demand the cake be helmet-shaped.

And THAT is why you are in charge of the wedding planning, those are all fantastic ideas. Alternately, the groomsmen could all be dressed as War Machine, and the bridesmaids as Black Widow.

Also, in my role as provider, I'll do all your Dremeling for you.

We might want to work that into the vows.

Haha, this thread turned into a crazy Iron Man wedding thread in no time at all.

EDIT: In regards to the Dremel Flex Shaft, it almost sounds like it's NSFW from the name alone. Looks like a cool Dremel though.

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 10)

i lol'ed at this. congrats to both of you. who knows maybe this thread may be the start of something ... more permanent. haha. If both are single then why not? :p laamberry looks very purty although I haven't seen nick fox yet in real person but if he looks like his avatar then way to go! :lol

@ Nick - flirting 101. Tony stark style. hahaha! :lol

Looking great. You have a lot more patience than I....pep stuff takes a gift.

pepping increases your emotional quotient. and teaches you that patience is indeed a virtue. :lol

the bathroom actually has good lighting.. keep up the good work!!

yup. very good when taking self portraits. I know because I often do that. haha.

Here's another version. Women are on the covers, like Mary Jane doing the webshooter finger thing.

I wouldn't mind some flattery, but something tells me the average user here isn't going to give me any. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to make due without. :( haha

Boy, go away for a couple of days, and I miss a whole wedding! :D Great cake, Laamberry -- Happy Belated Birthday. Helmet is looking great, btw!

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (kinda pic heavy)

Laamberry, awesome cake, belated happy b-day ;)

You might want to look into a flexible extension like this one here for your dremel:

I saw that at the store and thought about getting it, is it really worth it?

It is invaluable! Not to mention being able to get in tighter than you can with the body of the dremel in the way, it is also less strain on your arm from holding the weight of the dremel for hours on end. I hang mine on a pipe running over my workbench by a loop of wire, so I can drag it from one end to the other without having to take it down. Highly recommended.

That original "card-stock mock-up" helmet is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! :)

All I can say is I think that would be sooooo cool!!!!!!!!!
Happy Belated Birthday!
The helmet is looking great

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 10)

Your helmet is turning out great! I put my WM project on hold, I just don't have the patience to cut out all those pep files. :p

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 10)

D'oh! Of course I meant Muppet Frog Prince in my "Sweetums" post earlier, not Muppet Cinderella....

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (in-progress helmet pg 10)

I'll definitely look into the flex shaft, thanks you guys :] oh and thanks for the happy birthdays!

not a ton has changed but I'm procrastinating, so have another shot of the helmet as of now.

It's coming along very nicely, Watch out for the ears though, I know that somewhere around this part of the process, they collapsed or something and ended up being useless. =)

To add another voice, yes! Oh hells yes! I was lucky my rotary tool came with as many sanding filing and drilling bits as I could want as well as the flexible extension and a thing to make drilling easier ;) A gauge of sorts.

It also really helps in keeping the tool out of all the dust that it creates. I set my tool up on one side of me and work on the other. I have lost a tool once due to so much dust buildup getting inside and melting on the parts. Not good ;)

Definitely get one. I have mangled wrists so I can't really wangle the tool by itself so this actually allows me to work full stop on my projects :)

Looking good :)
