Kylo Ren - Starkiller Base Variant Inquiry

Hello RPF. Right now I'm working on a Ralph McQuarrie Stormtrooper for the 501st and am currently beginning research on a Kylo Ren for legion approval. I'm going for the look Kylo has towards the end of the film, on Starkiller Base when he's confronted by Han Solo and then battles Rey/Finn. From what I understand, this is how his costume stands for said variant.

And finally, Helmet/Lightsaber.

I haven't found much in the way of high quality reference photos for the midcoat other than two images.

Anyone know more about the midcoat aside from it being slightly smaller/made of different fabric than the top coat? Clearly there is some sort of layering going on in the back of the midcoat and a wax that gives the fabric a crinkled look.

The mid coat is slightly shorter than the top coat. Midcoat is made out of a wool or flannel material. Has a navy type collar, no sleaves. The top coat is slightly longer, is made from a 2x2 basket weave fabric. Difficult to come by. Monks cloth is also acceptable. It does not have sleaves or a collar. Hope this helps.
