Well? With the new stand beneath the MR Falcon, I was finally able to grab some photos! LOLOLOLOL. The photo above is real, not composited. All I did was 'clone-out' the stand. ;)

I used different angles of the “blue light” to create some interesting shadows.

To make it easier, I am keeping all my photos in one spot on the same server for faster viewing. ;)

You will find the other 31 or so photos here …

Kuhn Global,

LOVE the shots with the blue screen! :thumbsup :thumbsup
The Falcon looks very at home with it--and makes the photos look vintage.

And btw, congrats on the great find with the speaker stand!

I have just about had it with the fine work done by the talented artisans on this board. :angry

Beautiful as usual,

Was is repainted or MR stock? the weathering looks very nice and not overdone, even the assembly in general looks very cleanly done.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL... very kewl! :D

GF... it is completely stock. I don't know how or why, but I had great luck in my purchased deliveries from MR. They have all been exceptional. ;)

Thanks fellas! :D

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL...

That IS my kind of sandwich! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I LOVE IT!!! :D

Hey KG, where is this bluescreen--in your house? Do you have a pic you can post of the bluescreen in its location? You know, like if it's on a wall, a pic that also shows what's around it, in front of it, etc. And is it always up or do you put it up just for photo shoots of your stuff? Thanks!

I've asked this before but got no answer. In the shots of the 3 xwings. How do you go about removing where the stand connects to the fighter?

Sorry about that Z. I think I answered that exact question on another board and I must have gotten confused! LOLOLOL

In any case... here ya go... :)

I use the Photoshop Clone Tool to 'clone' the stand input area on the model with what is immediately around the stand piece that is covering parts of the model.... using the same textures and colors. ;) I hope that helps. :)

Thanks Wook! :D

Great setup area you have there to take some amazing pics. I'd be curious on the type of camera gear you use.

Kewl! Thank you rad1701! :D

Nice avatar btw... :)

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel XTi for the photography. It seems to be working out quite well with the detail shots. I really like it! :) I usually have the F-stop number set at 29. The shutter stays open for a good 10-15 seconds for me that way to capture the details and depth of field. The lighting is just standard photo flood lamps, but with 500 watt Eiko Supreme photo flood bulbs. The bulbs are colored "blue", thus shining on the models and washing them out a bit as if they were in the film itself. ;)

The screen I bought from EEFX.com. At a very reasonable price for what you get. ;)

I hope those are the answers you were looking for. :)
