The Hero RED 5 by Bob (Hand Solo)!

Let’s just say it has some unique attributes…. Such as an R2 unit with repair arm extended, and a rebuilt cockpit that matches the ‘full sized’ beasties, not to mention a Luke pilot figure that is adjusting his ‘targeting’ computer!

I am absolutely pleased! Bob did a WONDERFUL job!!!

Once again I made an amateur attempt at photographing this beastie and had limited success with my poor lighting techniques, but it still shows well! I experimented with a different color background as well!

I felt compelled to take some shots of both the new beasties together… RED 3 and RED 5!

As I usually state… I will get all the pieces professionally photographed soon enough. I apologize for my “on-the-fly” technique. It gives me a chance to really look and admire the pieces myself before placing them in an area that I maybe spend 15-20 minutes in each day. I hope to correct that soon.

Thank you Bob for producing another fine piece into the collection!

Next up… RED 2… again by Bob (Hand Solo), and then possibly a 1/650 Enterprise 1701-D by REL!

Wow!! Beautiful job on those SS X-Wing Models!!

Thank you! :D And agreed! Both Bob (Hand Solo) and Richard (REL) did FANTASTIC work on these beasties! :D

I am thrilled and I am very much looking forward to the other 4 birds they are doing for the collection. (Reds 1, 2, 4, and 6) ;)

It should make a very nice display with a DS trench seen and overhead dogfighting. ;)

WoW Bob did a helleuva job, you can tell allot of time and love went into her!!!

PS: Kurt you look like a Cyberman with that ear piece in all the time :lol

LOLOLOL.... I have been known to exhibit Borg-like qualities from time to time. ASIMILATION....LOLOLOL.

I know I sound like a skipping record Greg... and I couldn't agree with you more! I believe Bob placed some heart in that build as well! ;) I look forward to his RED 2 build this coming month! :D

Wow, awesome! The X wing is just such a cool ship. I gotta say seeing your pics makes me want to start dabbling in SS modeling.

What I want to see is the display room where you keep all these ships you've got!

Those are incredible additions to any collection, Kuhn. I am drooling just looking at them. I can't even begin to express how cool the finished pieces look.

I'm curious - having X-wings painted by two different artists side by side, how close are the colors to each other?

Awww... thanks guys! :$ This one was real fun to do, but detail-intensive since Red Five has some of the best known features of all the birds.

Way cooler than what we wouldve probably gotten from MR, and whats sad is it was probably cheaper with WAAAAY better of a paintjob and buildup than we couldve hoped for from them!

Awesome acuisition to Khun and awesome job Hand!

This would deffinately quench my X-wing SS thirst! Deffinately high on the list of wants. :love

Awesome job Bob, and that pic looks like something right out of ILM. Of course, Bob didn't have an Ak-47 pointed at his head if he didn't make 20 0f them a day like the Chinese workers that make the MR stuff, so he could take his time and do it right. :D
