Kroenen Venetian Mask Help

I'm looking to finally finish this version of Kroenen but I'm finding the Gas Filters a bit of a pain in my backside . Anyone know what was used for the film ?

Yeah, that was my first thought too. And then some sort of plumbing pipe.

Weren't they part of a citrus press? I'm sure I read that on here.

Citrus press looks a bit like this one I found on eBay, you would have to modify it a bit:
