Perfectly smooth surface and a good gloss coat! Most importantly and a mistake done by a lot of Loki costumers is that his armour is bronze NOT gold! Hope that helps.

I'm liking it a lot!
The problem with Loki colours is that he looks completely different behind the scenes than in the movie itself, due to lightning and always being surrounded by golden sets. So, using the armor's true colour might end up not looking so "screen accurate" despite being the true color. I think that's why most costumers prefer having a golden paint after all. I've tried to find a balance using some dark/brownish golden which looks like bronze under certain lightning circunstances and more golden under direct sunlight, but I haven't use that painting for a full Loki costume yet to see how it works.
Anyways, I love the colour you've chosen and I might do some tests with it if I find a similar one! I'm looking forward to seeing your complete costume

Awesome!! It is coming out great! I can't wait to see more.
I got to see the real armor once. It was displayed at the Fashion Institute of design and & merchandising, they have costumes from movies exhibited there every year. you can't take pictures. But I was determined to get one of Loki's armor, and i got one of Thor's too. It was so cool.

Well Tuesday I will see it all together with the main costume so we can both see how it looks for the first time with a bronze :lol

Such a shame though, such shiny smooth armor...yet one confrontation with the Hulk and it gets a bit damaged
