Kindom Hearts Keyblade???

My buddy is looking for a keyblade for his son's Halloween costume and isn't having any luck finding any. Does anybody here know where he can pick one up in time for the 31st? I don't think he's very particular about which one, (from what I gather their are a bunch of different ones). We went to Frank & Son's today but had no luck there.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Thanks for the lead and that one looks great, but he's looking for a full size replica, not 1/6 scale.

Yup. Much bigger. In the games, keyblades are big ass swords

I'd love to see someone make the Oath keeper, Divine Rose, or maybe the Metal Chocobo. Those are my favorites at least :lol

Most of what you find in stores are pretty poor to say the least. They are just cheap innacurate mass produced knock offs. Every now and again somewhat decent looking handmade keyblades pop up on ebay. But even the crappier ones can get bid up there.

Your friend would be better off just making the Kingdom Key from wood and PVC pipe. It would likely look better and be a lot cheaper.

Making full scale renditions of Oblivion and Oathkeeper is a project I have been procrastinating on for about 3 years now. Not many excuses left since they released the Kingdom Hearts Playarts keyblade set which contains the two.

Keyblades can be made quick and dirty of pvc and plywood. Which keyblade is your friend's son wanting? Here is a simple pdf how to make a dark keyblade:

My nephew is doing the halloweentown one, which is a bit more of a headache than the basic one.

it's too bad MR hasnt come through with their 1:1 version they proposed earlier this year... but i'm sure you can find some from cosplayers on Ebay...
