I am always gratefull for bumping my thread ;-)

Not too much new to report.

Construction is done, and since i frequently have posted mock up pics, you have already seen the model in its final form.

I now have permanently glued/sealed the two fuselage halves together and filled and sanded all grooves and screw holes.
Now i need to paint and weather the ship.

I have installed an extra long steel Rod for the Stand, which gives you nice display options ;-)
(Stand of course needs to be painted still)

I have not gotten around to re-painting them but you just bumped them to the top of the list. I was not going to add detail, and I will never be able to match yours, but I am gonna add some stuff too.

Holy CRAP that looks sweet as ****! It's making me want to track down a Shuttle myself so I can have a model as beautiful as yours! I'm going to use this thread as a how-to for whenever I end up getting one. Hopefully I'll be able to find one for a reasonable price...

corrected two more small things on the dorsal fin...

the ribs need to be much larger!
