Kahlan's daggers from Legend of the Seeker

I'm wondering if anyone has any info about whether these were a found item, or if they were created for the show. I'm pretty sure that they used all metal hero props, with stunt versions for fighting sequences. The best pictures that I have come from a current ebay auction for a rubber stunt version. Anyone recognize this? Anyone know who the maker was?

I tried doing some internet searches, but came up with nothing.

The closest "stand ins" that I could find aren't great, but for costuming purposes could work in a pinch:

Yeah, I've been looking around to no avail, too. Maybe someone will chime in. I may try my hand at sculpting my own, because I am mostly interested in something that could be brought to a con anyway. While having a metal one for display would be awesome, I don't think anyone's going to want me wandering around a convention center with two 14" daggers.

If only the shed11 ebay auctions weren't going so high. *sigh*

Can't tell you who the maker of these are - I'm looking at daggers for a future Kahlan cosplay - did come across someone on the Legend of the Seeker forum who made resin copies (but selling them for $1000 a pair, too pricey for me). Think he sells them via his Deviantart page and eBay... but I've forgotten his name.

I found some daggers from Cold Steel that work great. I have yet to find a real replica of Kahlens daggers. Cold Steel is a little expensive but they have high quality blades.

Maybe they're made of a different type of resin than the stuff I'm used to, but in my experience resin is too fragile.
