Hi,

I am making k-9 from doctor who and am looking for ways to make to make it move via radio control. What would be the best way to achieve this? I am not confidant in electricals so was thinking of using a remote control car, any advice on what to get? I'm open to all suggestions!
 
Depends on the weight of the finished replica. Mine is very heavy, I used two windscreen wiper motors, radio controlled for the front wheels (so you can steer by forwarding one motor and reversing the other). The rear wheel was just a castor.
 
Check ebay for RC parts…. Depending on weight a Tamiya might pull it. They are pretty cheap and easy to build and rip apart for retro fitting.
