To be fair, I don't think that it's a Knight Rider remake, just a comedy featuring The Hoff and with Bieber as the voice of KITT it's probably going to be a parody so I wouldn't be getting my knickers all up in a bunch over this news.

I don't think, it's going to run - rights lies at Glen Larson to make the movies and still is in development hell - so I think the news is bogus. AFAIK, the real movie is basically a two hour modern take on "Knight of the Phoenix", as KR would happen today, with sophisticated tech that is in development.

I disagree, I think that the news is real it's just that the movie isn't going to be a Knight Rider movie, just some comedy with the Hoff in it. What's happening is that everybody sees the Hoff and KITT being mentioned in the same article automatically think it's a Knight Rider movie and ignoring everything else and jumping to conclusions. Like I said before, the most likely scenario is that it will be one of those parody movies and part of it will parody Knight Rider and Bieber will be the voice of KITT in that part of the movie.

I’m going to step out of line and say, I’m “ok” with Bieber as the voice K.R.A.P.P., or whatever the car may be called for this iteration.

As a kid growing up with Knight Rider, it was never seen by me as a high quality show—even then—and was just seen as cheese whiz quality fun and a guilty pleasure.
