Hi all,

this is my first post! but i have been reading threads here for a long time.
i finally finished my DL-44 ANH blaster using a denix(not easy to get here in canada!) and the kit from DEC.
it was stripped then i cut the bottom to make the magazine plate not easy to fit using a file and a hand saw!
then i saw one of you guy's hacking the back end of the denix so i tried that... it was finally blued stamp with serial numbers.

i am including a couple of pictures, did i miss something, should i have done something different?

thanks to all that helped by posting infomation on the rpf for the noob that always wanted to do this!

That's awesome!! Thanks for sharing!
How did you mill out those details in the Denix?

Amazing work on the rear plate, wish I had the stones to do that on mind.

HI,

i cut out all of the back end and replaced it by a other piece that i machined by hand using files and a dremel.

thanks

What kind of metal piece did you use as the replacement? Just a chunk of pewter? Love the work you've done on this!

i cut it out of a piece of 1'' 1/2 by 1'' 1/2 of alluminium and a LOT of filling, i did the same thing to the hammer.

holy crap thats amazing! i looked at the pictures before i read the post, and once i saw the safety not in the stock denix location i said " what gun did he use" i was a little confused once i saw denix but further reading fixed it

that fab work is pretty damn impressive! excellent work!

An astonishing build.
Warmest congratulations and thanks for sharing, you've done a terrific thing here.
