Just brought this jet pack, now whats it from?

I have just brought this stand in jet pod thing and need to find out some info on it. I would think that it would have been used in a space show or movie due to no wings but I could be wrong. It looks like a well built prop but the seller has only owned it for a couple of years and got it from someone who couldn't remember what movie it was from. I have spent a couple of hours on Google without any luck. Any help you guys can give would be great.

I know what you mean, I think I remember seeing something like this on a Star Trek movie in a space dockyard.

I've just had a chat to the seller but not a lot more to ad except that to get into it the whole front lifts up. He did also say again that it is very well made and he was told it was from a film. Just need to find it.

I forgot to say that it's in the UK so probably a movie or show filmed over here.

My first thought was something from a TV Commercial, not film. Otherwise it might be something seen briefly in a movie like iRobot, Surrogates, Minority Report (obviously not the Agents pack) or other "Close to us in time" future film

I think I remember seeing it and I believe it was used for the police as well if I am correct. Possibly crowd control in a grungy city or for crime clean up were the officers sprayed while hoovering over the scene. Just can't think of the movie.


Does anyone remember that film where there were dead bodies in the street and the cops and clean up crews hovered over and the sprayed smoke dissolving the bodies

That was Logan's run. Was that filmed in the UK?

Been looking thru film descriptions. Found one called Blade Squad but it was filmed in the US and probably not that style of pack.... Lots of pics of those water jet packs...
