The jeeps were never painted orange.

My point exactly. Yes the bands and wheels were red, but in the film they definately look orange. Even in the background of the JP logos on the jeeps look orange in the film.

I know the Jurassic Jeep website well. I am finishng my jeep right now and will post it here soon.

My TV has nothing to do with it. The link below is the film still archive from the Jurassic Jeep forum. Scroll down to the shots of the jeeps in the daylight when they first see the Brachiosaurus. The definatey look orange. In fact, so many people see the orange color that one of the threads actually adresses this.
