Very nice. I always wanted a T-rex model, but just am not good at sculpting out of clay or whatever.

No, I wish I was that talented, haha. It's from a sculpter in mexico named Galileo. he has his own website called www.geenemodels.com In my opinion he sells the best JP sculpts available today. The triceratops is available for under 200 dollars. Well worth it!

Nice models man:)
Is that raptor the papo raptor?
Are you going to paint them?
Can't wait to see the results if you do.

Beautiful work! Nice to see DINOs again!
I also modified my horizon model a bit. (disregard the shine on the model)
Shortened the jaw, posed the arms & legs, made a new tongue, and new skin between the jaws.. still more to finish...

Those are so cool, they look like they would be a ton of fun to paint. Who doesn't love a dinosaur?

No, it's actually a Japanese kit made by a company called Tsukuda back in 1993. It is official jp merchandise, and very hard to find. I don't care too much for the sculpt tho, would much rather sell it to be honest.

Layed the colors down, just not excited about how it looks, hopefully a wash will do it some justice.

I just bought a recast of the horizon rex on ebay, I know its blasphemy but I didnt want to hunt down an official kit and then accidentally screw up such a rare piece. Do you have any points on assembly and painting? Ive never painted something alive, ive only done tanks and things

I did the same thing in regards to the recast Rex, figured if I screwed it up I'd only be out a few bucks. Going to do the same for the recast raptor. I have an original horizon, but on that I changed nothing. As far as tips goes, vinyl kits are very easy to put together.just some heat and an exacto knife. You'll find that the recast kits are not as flush with fitting so you will need to fill larger gaps then normal. I use apoxie sculpt. Also the details are not as prominent on the kit either. For paint i'm using an air brush, and I feel like an air brush is the only way to paint an organic model of large size, but that's my personal opinion.

The Spinosaurus is sculpted by Galileo Hernandez. Its easily attainable if you look up Pegasus Hobbies Spinosaurus.

Still Tweaking, but this is where im at on these two....

Male Parasaurolophus....

JP Gallimimus......Didn't like how soft she looked, so i went with a more film accurate representation. I mean i never saw blue or red in the film......

She's all Done! Still working on the base, it's pretty massive. I also know the hay is too large, but I don't know what else to use to create the small hay look. Any Suggestions? Also, should I sculpt the "Big Pile Of ****"? to add to the base?
