This was a quick afternoon build for sure. I'd started this weeks ago - and hit a wall creatively, things just weren't working. I picked it up again yesterday, took it apart and re-did it. It's made from an eddie bauer flashlight, some random plastic tubing and old tub faucet parts. The activation button I took off of some electronic equipment, maybe a floppy drive. the emitter is new, and there is another gas/water pipeline inside to weigh it down. I did the plastic bag thing to stuff the space between. The copper ruffled thing came out of a motor I took apart. It came from an old '60s classroom clock. (cool bits in there! gears and a few of these copper rings, I did have a dremel out the inside of the ring to get the tube to fit. Copper turns into tiny micro shards when you dremel it...There is a little bit of sink tube inside the large part of the handle and tape between that and the emitter tube just to take up the space. I like how it came out! (super glue was necessary, I only have a loctite syringe of epoxy atm and it wouldn't mix correctly)

sooo, voila! Painting the tops of the pommel bumps was a complete accident, and it was a great accident :)
