Jumanji Props

By the way, can someone help me to find the right fonts (for SHOES and QUALITY SINCE 1850): ...

It's difficult. I found a lot of very similar fonts, but not the exact one. The most similar is "GillSans".

Thanks Roland, that should do it to be honest!

Any found on the PARRISH? I thought it looked like ESPRIT BOLD. With some modifications, I could make it right... Otherwise, I can try to make it by myself and see x)

Thanks again :)

No luck on the Parrish fonts. All I can say, is that the font on the shoes and the font on the shoe box are different. You can see that on the letter "S". The lower-case "s" on the shoe box has upward-pointing serifs, the upper-case "S" on the shoes has no upward-pointing serifs. That means, both must be different fonts.

Let me show you what I mean:

I wouldn't use a font for the "Parrish" on the shoe box. I would draw it myself. :)

The turtle shell was fibreglass, i know this as i have worn it when my brother owned it! I wish I had bought it from him now!

Whaaat, he had the screen used hat? XD! Damn, I want it haha!

Anyway! I have been starting the work on the shoes! I think it's going fairly well just now, far from being done, but well XD! I will remove the specific leather pieces and send them to a leather artisan, so he can reproduces the pieces for me and accurately :p (with the PARRISH and P on the back!

I am so gutted, I found out from my brother yesterday that he sold the original jumanji turtleshell helmet to a guy in the states about 10 years ago for only £200.00!
Needless to say I could cry forever! :cry

I have just finished the other shoe :p I started to remove the leather pieces that need to be modified too (right shoe) :)! Only the soles left and the stitching :p

Definitely looks fake. Could have possibly been molded from a real one, but it looks like resin.
The paint chopped away in so many spots and it looks like white resin.... Unless it is white paint on a real shell?
Hmmmmmm....

Again, the one in the production may have been a fake shell...but I wouldn't let the white showing through throw you off...In order to make a shell sanitary and remove all the dead turtle, they have to be bleached by baking. This is usually done by placing the shell in the sun for long periods of time. The shells become an off-white milky color over time. Rarely does one find a shell with its original color intact after the turtle gunk removal process.

While at work today I had a bit of an epiphany.
I noticed that the toy shell back (Ninja Turtles) could be a good base for making the shell hat.
It would need the middle weapons rack to be removed then the area re-sculpted but overall it could work.
