JP1- Baby Raptor Head Sculpt

Hi all!

Bit of an allusive thread title, but limited space.
Just a small sculpt of a JP1 raptor hatchling, you're probably all exhausted with this type of thing. Thought I might have a go free hand sculpting one anyway, as I have always been fascinated with that scene. I have come across some lovely open eyed versions, but never a closed eye (I'm sure they are out there) so decided to give it a crack.

As with my raptor claw ( http://www.therpf.com/f9/jurrasic-park-grants-claw-little-twist-116757/ ) , I was just eye balling measurements from screen shots. This is what I have so far, but still undecided on final colouring coats.

Bare in mind this is only my second attempt at a prop sculpt or any sculpt for that matter. :)

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I know the colouring of the hatchlings has been discussed at length before, I was thinking light pink/cream.
The texture of the skin is not convincing yet, but the final coats of paint will fill it and leave just dimples/scales. They will also wash out its "dead" appearance, from the black detailing around the lips/eye lids.

Thanks for looking

Mitch. :)
