Joker Shoes

I decided to make, or put together a Joker Suit to go with my TDK. After searching the web I couldn't find a really good pair of replica shoes so decided to turn to my cobbler friend.

I gave him plenty of pics to make up a sample shoe and he's what he came up with.

After trying the shoes on I requested he make a few changes to the design and we chose the leather. Based on the this pic of the original shoe we concluded the base colour of the shoe was lighter. The worn parts on the seem line are a lighter leather. Here's the finished shoe prior to dying compared to the Movie shoe.

And the finished product.

I'm happy with the results.

Like I said on the LOH, that shoe is awesome.
Your cobbler is really good.
The only thing I see is the 2 small holes between each larger hole, but no one is going to notice that.

No they are not, unless they are nit picky. BTW, there are 3 more differences that I noticed. :lol

Those are perfict!! I so need me a pair for my TDK Joker! I had to make due with what I had and that was to spunge paint a pair of brown swade, on the plus side they did turn out close but dang I'd love me a pair of those. How much would I have to pay to get me a pair?

It's very nice. Can't help feeling the toe cap should be a bit more bulbous though and the cap doesn't require dots along the seam line. Still better than what I've got at the moment.

Actually.. it does have the holes across the toe, only he's made them bigger then I requested.

Shoes are done. He gave them a second coat of dye as the first coat faded.

agreed man finding accurate joker pieces is rough.
i was never satisfied with what i would find on the web so i gave up on my joker cosplay.
but i never thought about the shoes, i was too fixated on the big stuff.
those are amazingly perfect man your buddy did a great job makin those.!!.
