been working on a Joker bust for a few moths now and just pulled my 1st resin copy...a few air bubbles here and there..nothing that can't be fixed...I sculpted him bald so I could apply the hair myself...I'll do another version with sculpted hair as well...here's the progress

    clay sculpt

reminds me of the joker from "the killing joke".

Im really glad to see the darker side of him come out in a sculpt.

you have done an awesome job.

Seeing how as my airbrush $hit the bed on me last week. :angry and in my haste to get one painted up, I'm doing it the old fashion way: with a brush...even though he's FAAAAR from finished, I think that the idea of what he's going to look like is pretty much there...on my latex bust I'll be using artificial eyes instead of the painted one's that you see here.... hair coming soon...

Dude, it's an awesome display of talent. What kind of clay did you use - for us amateur scultures - and where
    did you get the teeth?

    *.... thats creepy.

ironically, that is how i always imagined the "return of the joker" mark hamill one to look if he stepped out into real life.

    damned fine work.

You know I always preferred Hamills Joker. Too bad the Mrs is terrified of clowns.

It would be good to see it with a slicked hair style and the manic style as well. Brush work looks good too.

It's been a while since i've been able to work on him( Boston had a few weeks of INSANE heat and my art room has no AC. :thumbsdown )..but it's been pretty nice out for the last few days and I had a chance to work on the hair detail a little bit..still getting the hang of doing the hair ( finding the right tools, getting the shapes ect)...I wasn't going to post these but what the hell...here are some new shots...

looking pretty good. the only thing i would try to do is give more "poof" to the hair, or at least have a lock or two just sort of jutting out. the bust seems to be a good combo of ross + BTAS, but the slicked back hair look only worked for nicholson ;)

it looks damned good though. i can imagine how cool it would look next to a good batman display setup.

    :thumbsup
