Just curious to any of you that have attended the past or present John Williams in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl? Did you bring lightsabers? Dress up? YouTube videos show people with sabers that make saber noises and I didn't know if that would be distracting? But what could be more distracting than 500+ lightsabers dancing to the Imperial March?

Just out of consideration for the fellow concert goers, I would just bring my attention and leave the toys at home.

If the people running the place had respect for their customers they'd tell those idiots to leave the crap at home, it's a concert not a rave.

I've been once. It's a ton of fun! Most people are very respectful. Once the Star Wars music starts the sabers come on. From what I remember you don't hear anything above the music.

How do you tell that to ALL these people?

How can I? They already had it in them to do it anyway. What am I gonna do to convince them otherwise? I personally don't like it but they've already made up their minds. Seems like you have too, so it's pointless to try and persuade after the fact. All I know is what I would based on what I believe is decent.

I would be there for the music and take it as it is rather than an opportunity to go "I'm a part of this" in some way.
