Okay. The coins arrived...…………………...AND...…………………...there're not right.
And this is not the first time I've had issues with this company.
The RAYS around the Shield and Lion are completely missing. They were there on the approved artwork, but not in the final product.
I will make a separate thread to sell these at a discount, rather than muddy this thread.
That means, the correct coins will be delayed and will not likely ship from me until early January.
(They'll likely show up at the very end of December, but for tax purposes, I'll wait to ship them till the first week of January. This more corresponds with the Movie release anyway)
This will give some of you a chance to buy more coins if you want a stack of coins at a discount, where only the top coins show and the middle ones don't need to be as accurate. Once the new coins arrive, I believe this is the last time I'll be using this particular company.

funny how some businesses have no interest in quality control, you wonder how they survive at all, i hope you didnt have to pay for the duds.

If you look back in this thread, you will see (going way back) that they first gave me coins that had a GRITTY texture to them, and they said that was normal, even though the rendering they sent me as proof didn't have any kind of gritty texture to it. So, I had to pay for those coins. I asked them to make sure new coins did not have a gritty texture, and they charge me extra for this "feature".
This time the error was clearly theirs, and they said I could just keep the coins. But, I'm still out the time and effort by them not being able to meet their commitment. If I had not ordered way ahead of time for the release of the third movie, the coins would have been LATE for the event. When you're trying to time your product for an event, messing up like this can be a disaster. Luckily, I allowed a large leeway.

I sent out some of the error coins, and received a message from someone that the error coins are a bit thinner and lighter. I have notified the coin company and this may delay the new coins. I am disappointed that this company is making so many mistakes.
