thanks mercuryapollo....i'll try and do a better job on the next run....i think i'm going to use the money from this run as a kickstarter to see if i can have actual coin dies made for the next run...and have the base metal be brass instead of pewter!

anyways i now have everyone's packages shipped out...updated the list on page 1.

yes pretty much...with dies the details will be super accurate and save way more time then hand pouring molds with molten metal like i was doing.

and if i could do them in brass it would not only be 10 times easier to plate....it would also polish up to that "gem mint" look the coins in the movie have!!!

other then the real gold wick coin i'm about to cast you really won't be able to get any more screen accurate then that.

yes i can't wait to see if i can pull these off with coin dies in brass.....my goal is to pull off that super high gold luster....you know...like something that looks gold chrome mirror finish!!!!

for the people on the int list who have as of yet to pay..........................

i would suggest waiting until after the 26th of dec to pay for your coins from here on out!

i've noticed after reviewing the tracking numbers of the last 25 packages i've sent out ...quite a few have been delayed due to the high volume of christmas packages.
this is the time of year when it's not a good idea to ship things...they get delayed, broken, stolen, lost ect ect!!!

if you still wish for me to ship to you before christmas ....you are doing it on your own risk!

just trying to keep everyone informed to the situation in the hopes that you all get what you paid for.

Received mine, love it! I see what you mean by imperfections, but overall I am just stoked to have such a nice real metal coin. Definitely count me in on any future runs, I love seeing this go from analyzing screenshots to concept to reality. I'm with this project for as long as it goes. Once again, great job!

yeah it's not too bad for being made in the kitchen and being my first time casting coins in pewter...and my first time doing gold work.
i look forward to having my metal shop in the beginning of january ....the next batch should make these ones look like a highschool art project.
