Looks awesome, love the props and the movie! I’m actually from Norway, actually none of the actors are norwegians in the movie 1982 movie and it’s kind of a funny norwegian accent to hear

I tracked down the map that was used in the film. Posted it over in the Free Paper Props sub. Might be a fine addition to your great display!

Map from 1979 Map Catalogue - AADC

Click here for the link to the full map. Might even find an original on some sites for sale! (Seems the links don't work any more! Balls!) But attached the full map below.

This is just a screenshot from the map that was used to match up with one used on screen.

Awesome! Thank you. I've been thinking about it but the old post link didn't work. Greatly appreciated!

Glad I learnt the links in the post weren't working. Will have to edit the post and attach it.

Awesome displays!. One of the OG's that made the Norrishead has an Etsy store, that sells some "The Thing" stuff. Not many realise who the seller is. Randomly got chatting to his son on an Adam Savage video comment section. In case you were looking for any items with a direct link to the film!
I've seen that, but didn't know it was a crew member. I'll have to check it out. Thanks again.

Edited my previous reply and removed the wrong info. My memory failed me. The guy was the person that made the OG kit, and I'm probably 100% wrong on the person being attached to the crew.

Mea culpa, my mistake!

Awesome display, OS!

Some great looking props you've got there

I'm, very slowly, working on a MacReady build myself and currently trying my hand at hat making...yeah, THAT hat

Looks great to me in the display!

I've always meant to try and get it printed in some form of poster size to fold it up, but had slipped my mind. I might have to do some googling this weekend to see what places/paper for the old maps.
