Just fond this thread! Excellent stuff here guys! I built the Bomb 20 miniature repo a few years back and have the space helmet on my wish list.

Didnt like not seeing the patches with the rest of the collection so put something together from a cheap frame. Based it on the existing Bansai set up.

Well it looks like I'm missing my chances. At least now I know the helmet is a vintage kids toy called the Space Helmet in the STAR Team series from a company called Ideal and was made between 1968-1971.

According to this thread it was remade in 2010 in a short batch at Brandsonsale.com but was discontinued within three years time.
