Jim Henson exhibit in Queens

FYI for the tri-state-area crew: the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens is hosting "Jim Henson's Fantastic World" exhibit from now through January. Film screenings, props, photos, etc. Must be some fans here.

I am waiting for the Henson wing to open up in Atlanta.

It will be the largest collection in a permanent location

I went when it came to Seattle and it was so so wonderful to be in the presence of so many of the real things used in the Muppets, Dark Crystal, Sesame Street etc. Meant so much for me to get to see these things in person.

Jim Henson was just amazing and is one of the people I admire most in my life for what he has done. When I was younger and first heard of his passing I actually cried. I was so bummed out he had passed away, and this was shortly after his involvement with the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.
