Jeff Conaway has died.

I knew he had been in the hospital for a while now, I was hoping he would pull through. A lot of B5 actors have passed before their time. (Though, admittedly, Conaway's addictions certainly hurried his demise.)

RIP

It seemed as if B5 was a boost to his career, he seemed to have cleaned up for a while during its run.

Sad news, indeed.

Yeah, he went into a coma from an OD. Some people just can't shake their addictions no matter what. Grease, Taxi, B-5, he had a decent career.

He led a very troubled life outside of his career and its always unfortunate seeing someone spiral out of control via addiction, condolences to the family for their loss.

I had seen him a few times. Most recently was at the Anaheim Comic Con and he looked as if he was 85 years old. RIP!

I hope he's found some peace and is burnin' up the quarter mile in the great beyond. I always find it slightly tragic when the news of someone's passing leaves you saddened, but not surprised.

Best to remember his life on-screen. I'll always remember how cool I thought it was when Kenickie and Tron joined the cast of B5.

His character on "Babylon 5" had similar issues, and a discussion his character had with another character was probably very close to his reality.

It really is a shame. :(

Not an OD - doctors said he took no more thas perscribed amount - but he also had the flu which lead to his coma

That really sucks for the family.
Must have been absolute hell to make the decision to turn off the life support.
I couldn't do it.
mrs.slave1pilot loves Grease ( i mean LOVES) , he will always be Kenickie in our house.

Love him in "Grease." Although I didn't know much else he did it's still sad when this sort of thing happens especially under these circumstances. RIP Jeff!

I was always curious to his seemingly quick downfall from his time on the set of Man on the Moon to just a year after. On set he was stable, up and around like nobodys business. A year later it was if he was someone else. Then years later seeing him on the rehab show was really sad. In the end its the person them self that can change, some just dont care to.
