JAWS Neoflasher Strobe orange battery cap

I have one of the Military emergency strobes however it has a newer (not movie accurate) brass battery cap. At one point someone was reproducing them. An original cap was just way too expensive. Does anyone have any ideas on how to come up with a reasonable facimile? Thanks
