Diorama #1: "The Buoy"

About the base:
I went for the simplest and cheapest solution: transparent silicone (and white silicone for the foam).
When it's completely dry, glossy varnish will be applied.

Silicone on a blue perspex glass board:

Smoothed it and placed the buoy and a shark fin:

White silicone for the foam (removed the top part of the buoy for an easier work):
