Yes, the Japanese producers pay a lot of money for American actors to do commercials. There used to be a fair amount of actors that "didn't do commercials" that would do a Japanese commercial.

My sons love Schwartzenegger's comercials. My youngest loves to make the peace sign and say "Dai Cho Pui!". :lol
