Jango Helmet

Hey all....

Just want to show off a project of mine. It's a BKBT Jango helmet. Came in the mail as a kit type thing, so I spent the past few weeks cutting, sanding, and painting it. The BKBT's a great helmet.

Anyway, some pics....


Pristine and all clean........

Dirty and weathered.....

I did a little more than needed for the weathering, but I like it that way. :cheers

lookin' slick. i don't think you went overboard with the weathering at all. if anything, above the brow is the only place i notice a little much. but it gives it character. :thumbsup

Thanks all.

I used Rub n' Buff for that shine. Great stuff and looks much better than silver paint IMO.

That's a lovely helmet I have to say. What did you do with the Rub n ' Buff to get such a fantastic shine (or was it just just elbow grease?).

I just had the surface extremely smooth and rubbed very hard with a small amount of RnB. Then buffed it with a shoe polish rag.

Took about five tries to finally get satisfied with it though.
