James Bonds' Playboy Club Card

In one of the James Bond films with Roger Moore he is seen carrying a Playboy Club Card in his wallet. I can't remember which movie it was but I wonder if anybody has good pictures of it or even replicated it. Wouldn't it be fun to have custom credit card that looks like the club card?

Cheers,

The movie was Diamonds Are Forever. Bond put the card on Peter Franks, the diamond smuggler, after he disposed of him in one of the hallways of Tiffany Case's hotel/apartment. Tiffany gasps "you killed James Bond!"

So then it's not Moore but Connery!

Thanks for the email address I guess I will drop him a line.

Yep, that's right, it was Connery's first return as Bond after OHMSS. He earned well over a million pounds, which at the time was the highest salary for any actor (1971). Connery promptly donated his salary to the Scottish boys fund.

As for Ed, I did not know he made that particular prop, but he certainly is a talented fellow and well respected in the Bond community for his Bond prop prowess. I'll have to get one as well. Ed is, as the saying goes, "good people". If he makes that card, you can't miss.

I have written to Ed and his reply was very helpful. The design of the card is easy to recreate so I think to print it on plastic with the embroiled letters is the real quest here.

Question: If I found a way to do this would there be interest enough for a run?

My take on it:

I'll probably be in for a few of these depending onm price. I've got some Bond friends who will LOVE getting these in their Christmas card this year!

I found sites who can do this and the price is reasonable, Only problem: I's have to take 250 pieces at least.

Those sites are generally pretty adamant about third party copyright. You may have trouble getting them to print the bunny logo.

Might be worth giving Chris Maage of Reelfakes a try, he's a board member and does good work on this kind of thing.
