Okay someone who shall remain nameless is working on a casting of this but I got impatient. I will get his as it's going to be much better quality because of materials but in the meantime I got one off one of the 3D printing services that someone modeled. I think they are from here.
Anyway I received it and I am very happy with it. I am going to add a screen, paint the buttons and add a little red light even though it won't light up.
I have searched thousands of key chains, key chain parts, etc. No luck. I am working on gathering parts to create the very unique key chain. It will be a combo of various key chain parts and scratch/modding, etc.
I also located pics of the Aston Martin DB5 keys from one that was for sale (Yes I know his was not the DB5 in TLD and it is my 2nd favorite Aston from the films, but the DB5 is it.) Anyway I went on Ebay and found vintage British keys that were similar.
The lock picks are the problem. No luck finding anything close. Again I have searched thousands of lock picks, lock pick kits, lock pick pocket knife, etc. and found nothing even remotely close.
The film prop always seems to have the regular looking end of a key sticking out the bottom and seams to be some type of contraption that is like a tubular swiss army pick set.
Anyway any ideas would be helpful. I can't even find the main pick Q shows him.
I am seriously thinking of getting a Macgyver size swiss army knife and modding it to match.
There are not many pics online so I popped in the Blue Ray and took pics with my camera of my TV.
I also uploaded all pics online I found of the real prop and the very rare promotional one they offered. Currently going for over $600 on Ebay. DB5 keys from the sale of one, etc..
