I bet they move the gun barrel sequence back to the beginning. I think they wanted this to be a surprise.
Actually the director REALLY wanted it at the front but said that it just didn't fit. I hope they move it back too. :thumbsup

Sorry about that. I am partially to blame for the non-warning, the original thread title by the OP did mention spoilers in the title and about avoiding to hover on the title to escape spoilers in the opening message.I hoping for a review but instead i get a major spoiler in the first sentence. thanks
No, like with many movie threads the pre-release and post-release threads will remain separate. Are the the two Skyfall threads going to be eventually merged?
007 is. James Bond is not.
As I mentioned earlier that rationalization has never been accurate according to the cannon presented.![]()

Most "post-release" threads here are now known to have spoilers even right from the get go and need to be avoided if not seen.
It's still not clear to me how Bond survived the sniper bullet and fall (and although we see his bullet wound from the assassin's semiauto hand gun I never saw where he was hit by Moneypenny) and how Silva escaped the X-Men/Avengers lucite prison of doom. :confused
Oh, I know...But I'm in denial. :lol![]()
Loved the movie, but let me see if I understand something:
The shrapnel (it had a radioactive isotope and whaaa??? ) provides them a lead to a city and an assassin. (?) He gets there and someone (MI6?) texts him when the guy is flying in. He follows him and does not prevent him assassinating someone (who is never identified ?), because he wants to know who he's working for, and since it's obvious that the people in the room across the way were in on it, he knows if he sees any of them when cashing in the chip, they (the girl) are his way in.
Can anyone help me make that more clear?
I thought the actress did an excellent acting job of someone who's terrified and trying to hide it.
Patrice's location was provided to Mi6 by the CIA, and I was half expecting to see Felix meet up with Bond in Shanghai.

I can't understand why they needed to hire an assassin to kill that guy in the other building.. EVERYONE except the the victim was in on the kill. They even helped clean up the room. Why do they don't just come in there with a gun and shoot him?
