I'm a big fan of little known and much maligned adventure film named Jake Speed.
I had wanted to own paperbacks shown in the film. Since they don't actually exist I had to make one.
A friend helped me with this.

Cool. I had totally forgot about Jake Speed. That was a great B-flick. :thumbsup I think his side arm was a saw off, pistol gripped Remington 1100.

Correct, it was a conversion of a Remington 1100, that was made for military and law enforcement. They named it the Sidewinder. The recoil assembly was moved from the shoulderstock to the front of the shotgun. It was very popular in movies, and tv shows in the 80s. It was Sam Jones's 'pistol' in "The Highwayman", and it was Clarence Boddicker's shotgun in "RoboCop", although his had an extending shoulderstock. They also made one with a removible box magazine.
I really liked "Jake Speed", and was sorry that they didn't make any others.
I'm glad to see that other remember Jake Speed.
You are right about his firearm. It was a Remington that Jake nick-named "The Kid". It could fire six twelve-bore shells in four seconds.
The other prop that would be nice is HARV. It was a 1957 Willys Jeep that had two 6.72 MAG machine guns that could be remotely controlled. If any of you make it let me know.
