JACK SPARROW RINGS

Thank you for the heads up. 'Twill be quite helpful. I still don't know why all these reproductions of the dragon ring are silver, though...it looks kind of like tarnished brass in the pictures I've seen.

The more I think about it, the less I am actually a fan of that replica dragon ring. I liked the original a lot, but this one is much flatter and less-detailed, as well as the wrong colors.

So, in a move that may not make any sense, I'm going the non-canon route instead:

Still have the dragon motif, - and it looks nicer than the MR dragon ring anyway, in my opinion. I am still probably going to go for the "stolen" ring, and maybe the "button" ring as well.

I HAVE to buy them, too bad the cost plus shipping overseas is $106.44... :(
If someone can buy them for me (when available), I will pay you the rings plus shipping with USPS or something like that... Let me know with a PM or something...

That'll definently hold until I can afford the museum replicas ones..

[edit] Wait a sec. When did Master Replicas get so gay? $40 to ship 3 plastic $10 rings to Canada????? That's it for me ordering from them. [/edit]

The same time they ask me to pay over $75 for the same 3 rings to ship overseas... :unsure

WRONG..... Wrong color purple, it's supposed to be a typical Amethyst color Cabochon stone. And the ring is more of a white metal with a tint of a yellow gold plating over it that's wearing off. $10 buck huh? Say hello to a ton of green fingers. :rolleyes

The gold amethyst ring is much too small and yes the amethyst by nature is purple.

Gold flower ring looks good but it seems a little small. The ring shank is way too small compared to the movie version.

Jade dragon ring also looks too small. The dragons are nicely detailed but the entire ring needs to be weathered and faded. I think the stone should resemble a jade stone better.

They're all quite off in terms of accuracy, the flower ring is the closest though, but nice for the price I must admit.

This is what I have been using for my jade dragon ring. Real jade and silver. Thumb turns green though if I wear it too long.

Just a few pictures here of the Screen used rings. Also a nice way of seeing the varying colours of the dragon ring throughout the film.
Just so everyone can see how they compare to the MR ones shown in the first post.

The dragon ring in the disneyland picture posted above looks like a noble collection ring. I have one, and the overall design is identical, even the coloring

Two things make me think that it's not the noble collection ring, though. On the top right hand corner(the dragons foot) is a "dab" of metal that isn't on my ring. And, the dragon on the side has holes through the tale in the picture, but mine doesn't. But besides that, it's pretty spot on.
